Which iPhone is right for you?

Buying an iPhone used to be pretty simple. Just one model, you've just got pick your storage option. Now they can stick around for years. The great thing about an iPhone is that you know it will get updates for years to come so it's hard to go wrong with any mode. But we've put this guide together to answer the common questions and to give you an answer on what the right iPhone is for you.

iPhone 16 Pro

All phones get an OLED screen, USB C, MagSafe charging, the Action Button and Camera Control.

Should you get an iPhone 16 Pro model?

If you want the best camera system, then absolutely you should go for one of the Pro models. First you get the 0.5x ultra-wide camera, the 1x main camera which also crops to give you a 2x option and now both Pro models get the 5x telephoto lens. The camera system also includes a LiDAR sensor for better Portrait Mode photos and better depth sensing for AR apps.

The Pro iPhones get a Pro Motion display that gives you up to 120Hz for a more responsive experience and an always-on display which is really makes Live Activities even better. If you want all of that the biggest screen and/or more battery life, then the iPhone Pro Max is the one for you.

Should you get the iPhone 16 Plus?

If you want the best battery life possible and like a bigger screen, then this is the model for you. The camera arrangement is fine for day to day photography.

Should you get the iPhone 16 Max?

This year, both Pro models have the same camera system so the only differentiator here is the screen size and battery life. Even the regular iPhone 16 Pro should get you through a day of use with ease, but if you want to be sure then the iPhone 16 Pro Max will last just that little longer.

Some people do prefer the bigger screen size so if you want more real estate then it's the best screen in an iPhone with a 120Hz Pro Motion display that can get as bright and as dim as it needs to for your surroundings.
